This elegantly rustic stone house is located on a three hectare block, once the site of a dairy farm on the outskirts of Brisbane. Built entirely from recycled materials including sandstone salvaged from an old courthouse and slate from the roof of a historic church, the dwelling possesses effortlessly rustic charm. The main design objective was to create uniformity between contrasting interiors and to ensure the external landscape mirrored this principle.
